我国在服刑人员心理矫治领域取得了很多成果，但也表现出心理矫治的理论和技术未能对服刑人员的特殊心理环境进行针对性分析与缺乏普遍适用性等问题。本文针对以上不足，结合绘画治疗的特点着重分析了绘画治疗在服刑人员心理矫治中应用的优势及作用，希望能为服刑人员的心理矫治工作提供新的矫治方法，弥补现存的不足，同时扩大和丰富绘画治疗的应用领域。

In recent years,the field of psychological treatment for offenders has been the important component of prison education and has made a great success with the progress of society as well as the reform of educational system. However,the work of psychological treatment for offenders in our country was in early stage comparing with the corresponding work in western countries. Moreover, some questions are still to be focused. Firstly,most researches in psychological treatment for offenders only rested on the survey of mental health states,personality and so forth. Meanwhile,the detailed investigations that conducted from the aspects of time served,criminal types or age were neglected. What was more,the relevant intervention studies were ignored either. Secondly,the theories and technologies in the field of psychological treatment for offenders mainly followed the achievements of western countries and failed to explain or treat the mental deficiencies of offenders in Chinese pointedly from the practical situations as well as the native cultural background. Last but not least,the existing psychological techniques in prisons could not intervene the general characters of psychological questions that existed in offenders in groups. In other words,the reality requirements are far from satisfactory. <br> The current paper analyzed the advantage and the effect of art therapy in psychological treatment of offenders on the basis of summarizing the deficiencies of psychological treatments in domestic prisons. The superiorities of art therapy are as followed. On the one hand,it is not limited by literacy so as to remedy the insufficiency that some offenders are not able to express themselves very well in the process of psychological treatment because of their lower educational level. On the other hand,art therapy is a kind of non-verbal and intentional therapeutic method which is capable of avoiding consciousness or defensive mechanism as well as psychological impedance more effectively. Therefore,the offenders are easier to eliminate mental defense and resistance resulting in better self-representation. The impact of art therapy manifested in the three following points. One,it exposes a new way for offenders to reveal their inward world. Two,the art therapy itself is expressive,symbolic and value-neutral. Three,it provides a platform for offenders to re-assessment or create themselves. <br> Through the efforts of the whole society,we hope the art therapy can be applied to the work of psychological treatment in prison for the purpose of making up the inadequacy of informed researches,providing a new therapy of offenders’psychological treatment and expanding or enriching the application area of art therapy. Only in this way,art therapy can play a deserved role in psychological treatment.
