小城镇是优化城镇化空间布局的重要平台。以福建省为例，分析了小城镇综合改革建设试点镇发展的现状，剖析其发展过程中面临的现实困难和问题，提出了要把握好短期、中期和长期的阶段目标，重点推进“家门口”的城镇化，优化小城镇功能布局，发展特色优势产业，推动城乡发展一体化，做好小城镇生态文章，传承小城镇历史文化，注重体制机制创新等发展思路。

Small towns are important platforms for the optimization of spatial distribution. Taking Fujian Province as an example, this paper analyzes the situation of the development of the comprehensive reform experimental towns, explores problems and difficulties in reality during the developmental process and puts forward several feasible measures such as holding the short-term, medium-term and long-term objects, attaching importance to“hometown urbanization”, optimizing functional layout of small towns, developing character-istic advantageous industries, promoting the development integration between cities and countries, utilizing the biological advantage of small towns, inheriting historical culture of small towns and focusing on the innovation of system and mechanism.
