The course of"Basis of mechanical manufacturing technology"is a practical course with high comprehensiveness and practical‐ity. The course covers wide contents ,and it is difficult to teach and study. The world outlook and methodology of dialectical material‐ism were introduced into the course teaching. And the students were guided to understand ,analyze and deal with the course contents from the view of relation ,development and contradiction. Through such method of course teaching ,the students are promoted to learn and master the professional knowledge ,and the abilities to analyze and solve problems using dialectical materialist theory are also devel‐o ped.
