In 2007 November, Google launched a smartphone operating system — Android, the operating system raised in the beginning of it has been all over the world. With the increasing popularity of mobile intelligent terminal, the continuous develop?ment of software technology, the number of Android application software is growing, so far, Android has become one of the most popular mobile terminal platform. This paper carries on the analysis to the Android platform architecture and the develop?ment process, discusses on the software development technology based on Android platform, expected to provide some sugges?tions for the software development based on Android platform.
