微信以其即时性、互动性、隐私性，经济性等独特优势在众多网络社会化媒体中异军突起，并在政务传播和发布方面扮演着越来越重要的角色，微信与电子政务的结合正在逐渐成为反映社情民意的主要平台。该文对政务功能的微信公众账号进行了分析，通过实际观察法和取样调查法，采用定量方法和定性方法相结合的方式，对当前政务微信公众账号的特性、发布的内容、互动的功能等方面的应用现状和存在问题进行了分析和研究，并对其未来在政务服务和发展定位给出了合理化建议。
