Synaesthesia has attracted much more attention of scholars all over the world.In traditional rhetoric, synaesthesia is regarded as a kind of rhetorical method.With the publication of Metaphors We Lived By written by Lakoff&Johnson, people started to understand synaesthesia from a new perspective.The paper classified some literatures about the synaesthesia research in order to have a clear understanding of synaesthesia.
