Through various kinds of literature,the article draws the conclusion that the seismic strengthening technology is more suitable for the old brick concrete structure building,especially the new seismic isolation technology,from comparisons and analysts between the performance, the construction cycle,the economic costs and other factors,provide more evaluable suggestions and opinions in the issue of old buildings aseis-mic reinforcement of the domestic city.
