As a classical works in Chinese poetics history, Ye Xie’ s The Origins of Poetry was always able to innovate based on the former achievements. “Indefinite laws of poetry” is the basic proposition of his theory of poetry method. “Wise spirit” is the mastermind of “indefinite laws of poetry”. On the realm of poetry, he highly praised “nature”, which is the purpose of his theory about poetic technique.
