邓小平群众观内涵丰富，对于当前全党开展群众路线教育实践活动、进一步密切党群关系、巩固党执政的群众基础，具有重要的现实意义和深远的历史意义。学习邓小平群众观，必须做到：创新群众工作理念，为密切党群关系提供思想保证；加强制度建设，把群众的主体地位落到实处；真正坚持党的群众路线，密切联系群众；把人民利益放在第一位，不断改善人民生活。
