陕甘宁边区苏维埃政府成立后，大力开展以“扫除文盲”为主的普及教育运动，积极推进以“移风易俗”为主的乡村改造运动，建立“婚姻自主”的新型婚姻家庭关系，唤醒了以封芝琴为代表的边区青年对美好爱情的向往。封芝琴三次抗婚，树立了追求婚姻自由的新女性典型，成为推动妇女解放运动的一面旗帜；边区政府三次判决，树立了人民民主政府依法处理婚姻纠纷、司法为民的榜样。

협감저변구소유애정부성립후，대력개전이“소제문맹”위주적보급교육운동，적겁추진이“이풍역속”위주적향촌개조운동，건립“혼인자주”적신형혼인가정관계，환성료이봉지금위대표적변구청년대미호애정적향왕。봉지금삼차항혼，수립료추구혼인자유적신녀성전형，성위추동부녀해방운동적일면기치；변구정부삼차판결，수립료인민민주정부의법처리혼인규분、사법위민적방양。
After the establishment of Soviet Government at the border areas of Shensi -kansu Rigion govern-ment , various movements were actively launched and wakened the desire for love of young people like Feng Zhiqin , that is, the universal movement to help the illiterate read and write , the rural reform movement to transform the so-cial traditions and the movement to build the new legal family relationship of "marriage at people's own choices". Refusing marriage appointed by parents three times , Feng Zhiqin typified the new female image who sought for free marriage and promoted the liberation of women .The three court decisions of the government set good examples for people's democratic government to handle marital conflicts and to practice the idea of justice for people .
