认知语义学强调学习过程中的认知加工，鼓励习得者在词汇学习过程中主动探究语言内部规律。习得者应有意识地培养自身的认知隐喻思维能力，注重文化背景知识的了解，了解多义词的形成过程，理解并科学地、熟练地掌握词的各义项之间的关系。
