网络具有自身的本质属性、功能属性和社会属性。网络的本质属性表现为物质性与知识性的交融、现实性与虚拟性的结合、扩展性与联系性的统一。网络的功能属性包括网状中介性、交互传导性和广泛承载性。网络的社会属性表现为全球性与民族性的结合、系统性与小众化的结合、社会化与个性化的互渗。

Network has its own essential, functional and social attributes. The essential attributes of network performance for the unity of materiality and knowledge, reality and virtual, extension and relation. Functional attributes of the network including the intermediary nature, conductivity and carrier. Network society attribute shows the combination of the global character and the national characteristic, the systematization and minority, socialization and individuality.
