不同区域在共同推进新型城镇化的进程中，切忌搞一样化、齐步走，而应有自身特色，并作出符合本区域实际的路径选择，以科学的态度实施对于新型城镇化的科学推进。不同区域的新型城镇化有六大共同的新标志，而这些共同标志在不同区域有不同的具体表现形式，由此形成新型城镇化鲜明的区域特色。对于发达地区与欠发达地区来说，新型城镇化的这种区域性特色，归根结底来自于各自发展的特定阶段性。江苏苏南、苏北是全国发达地区、欠发达地区的缩影，各自发展的阶段性特征不仅内涵着新型城镇化的区域特色，还由此进一步决定了其差异性路径对于新型城镇化的差别化推进。

In the progress of jointly promoting new-type urbanization, different regions shall by all means avoid performing in the same way. Each region is supposed to be of its own characteristics, and shall make path selection according to its real situation and take a correct attitude towards the scientific promotion of new-type urbanization. New-type urbanization of different regions have six common new symbols, however, these common symbols have different specific manifestations in different regions. As a result, distinctive regional characteristics of new-type urbanization are formed. For developed regions and undeveloped regions, such regional characteristics of new-type urbanization ultimately come from particular stage of their development. South Jiangsu and North Jiangsu is the epitome of developed regions and undeveloped regions of the country. The stage characteristics of their development not only include <br> the regional characteristics of new-type urbanization, but also further decide that different paths shall promote new-type urbanization differently.
