In the era of information technology, the readability analyzer will make it easier, faster and more convenient to analyze the reading ease and other readability indices of a text. Research findings show that, in some countries, reading ease of news papers, magazines and legal documents is usually restricted. In language instruction, choosing texts with suitable readability is the precondition to promote teaching efficiency. Educators may use the readability analyzer in choosing suitable reading texts for developing learners ’ reading comprehension, and selecting suitable internet recourses in cultivating learner’ s autonomic learning. With the readability analyzer, teachers can also evaluate learners’ level of writing, assist learners to find out their problems in writing and to achieve progress in writing.
