This paper describes the status of teaching in computer public courses for art class professional,and analyzes the advantages of using modular teaching in computer public courses for art class professional and introduces our specific approach in teaching practice. Through investigation this paper examines the effect of the modular teaching applied in com-puter public courses for art class professional,and sums up the application issues,shortcomings and limitations that should be noted.
