The screw bolt of the failed valves were analyzed from the following aspects such as macromorphology , chemical component, microstructure, corrosion product from the fracture surface, load estimation and etc.Failure causes of the screw bolt were found , improved meas-ures and advices were given.The similar fault accidents have not taken place again after the im-provement.
