同为国家历史文化名村的两座古村落———爨底下村和英谈村，在现今古村落保护的道路上，却有着迥然不同的境况。通过对两座古村地缘、资源优势、保护发展现状的对比分析，发现它们各自的特点及共同点，并分析了各自存在的问题及形成原因；从比较研究中获得启示，对两个案例取精去糟，总结出要协调保护与发展的关系、要保护有形的建筑和无形的民风民俗、要多元化系统化地发展，这样才能使古村落的保护发展真正做到可持续。

동위국가역사문화명촌적량좌고촌락———찬저하촌화영담촌，재현금고촌락보호적도로상，각유착형연불동적경황。통과대량좌고촌지연、자원우세、보호발전현상적대비분석，발현타문각자적특점급공동점，병분석료각자존재적문제급형성원인；종비교연구중획득계시，대량개안례취정거조，총결출요협조보호여발전적관계、요보호유형적건축화무형적민풍민속、요다원화계통화지발전，저양재능사고촌락적보호발전진정주도가지속。
As national historic and cultural village, Chuandixia and Yingtan, on todayˊs road to protect the ancient villages, have very different situations. Based on the comparison and analysis of geography, resources advantage, current situation of the development and protect of the two ancient villages, their respective characteristics and commons will be found, and the existing problems and reasons will be analyzed. Enlightenment will be gained from comparative study of the two cases, and come to the conclusion that the relationship between protection and development should be coordinated, the tangible and intangible folk customs be protected, and diversified system be developed, so that the development of protection of ancient villages can be truly sustainable.
