This article mainly discusses on metallurgical oxygen generating units adapting to the changing oxygen consumption of steelmaking and ironmaking and reducing oxygen re-lease loss. Through duty-varying operation of the 40000 m3/h oxygen generating unit and opti-mization of operating process, the purpose of energy saving and reduction of oxygen loss has been achieved.
