The paper indicates the schedule operation management of some large-scale water conveyance canal in Xinjiang,aiming at the existing problems in the management of canal operation,points out the improvement measures and suggestions from the water volume scheme management, informationized construction,engineering maintenance and repair,maintenance of electromechanical equipment,and water management team-work,so as to ensure the safe operation of water conveyance canals.
