通过介绍生态哲学研究的多元范式，分析不同范式的思想实质和理论局限，得出建构当代中国生态哲学必须立足于当代中国发展的现实基础之上，发展是当代中国生态哲学的实质这一结论。发展是解决所有生态问题的关键，是建设生态文明的关键，也是建构当代中国生态哲学的关键。生态实践是以生态学原理为依据，以生态环境的整体性规律为内在制约，以人地协调发展为价值旨归和对良好的生态环境的需要为根本动力的物质性活动。当代发展是当代中国最主要的实践和现实。生态哲学的现实性来自人们的生态实践活动。当代中国生态哲学的理论基石是以发展为主线的生态实践。

There are multiple paradigms which include different ideological essences and theoreti-cal limits in ecological philosophy research.The conclusion is that the essence of contemporary Chi-nese ecological philosophy is development and the construction of contemporary Chinese ecological philosophy must be obtained from the fact of contemporary Chinese development.Development is the key to solving all ecological problems and to constructing both ecological civilization and contemporary Chinese ecological philosophy.The ecological practice means the material practice,in the light of the integrative law of eco-environment as inner restriction,the harmonious development between human and nature as value purpose and the need of favorable eco-environment as fundamental dynamics, which regards ecological principle as its basis.Contemporary development is the most important prac-tice and fact.The reality of ecological philosophy derives from human ecological practice.So the theo-retical foundation of contemporary Chinese ecological philosophy is j ust the ecological practice domina-ted by development.
