介绍了一种改进型的短背射天线,通过增加扼流槽的方式有效提高天线的增益,实现了高达80%的口径效率;同时通过优化副反的形状有效改善短背射天线驻波带宽,在约12%的带宽内具有19dBi的高增益特性和优于1.5的驻波带宽。实测结果有效验证了该设计的正确性和有效性,由该结构构成的短背射天线具有效率高、副瓣低、功率容量大的特点,可很好的满足星载应用。

A novel modification of short backfire antenna ( SBA) is described in the paper, which has the advantages of high aperture efficiency, high gain, low side-lobe, simple structure, easy method to feed and so on. The added structure of choke on reflector is applied to increase the gain and to improve side lobe of the radiation pattern. The shape of double cone on sub-reflector is given to improve the bandwidth and VSWR of ports. At last, a fabricated prototype according the de-signed dimensions achieved from simulation and analysis is discussed, and the actual measured results is consistent with the simulated results. The novel SBA has the good performance that the gain of 19dBi is attained, and VSWR is lower than 1. 5 at the relative bandwidth of 12%.
