This paper mainly focuses on the research of flight test technique and flight test hazard of TAWS ( Ter-rain Awareness and Warning System) . In the first part, every sub-mode function of TAWS is introduced briefly. Then in the second part, flight test technique of each sub-mode is analyzed. In the third part we expound the source of flight test hazards and analyze how to minimize those hazards. At last, we verify the applicability of flight test technique by an example. The research method can provide useful reference for TAWS flight test work on the new type of aircraft.
