The geological model set up through using the advanced 3 DMine mining engineering three -dimen-sional digital software in the mining design of tailings recycling for tin recycling resources of Laochang Qiliuzhai tailings dam was introduced and assessing the quantity of tailing resources was, carried out, and the design veri-fication for the feasibility of using the outdoor mechanized mining and transportation was conducted so that a cer-tain economic and social benefits can be obtained for enterprises so as to solve the hidden danger of the tailing dam.
