对广西沙塘林场22年生邓恩桉木材的主要物理性质进行测定和分析。结果表明:邓恩桉木材气干密度、全干密度分别为0.751、0.707 g·cm-3;其径向、弦向和体积湿胀率分别为3.8%、4.7%、8.9%;径向、弦向和体积干缩率分别为3.9%、10.0%、13.8%;192 h的吸水率为83.5%。除木材密度外,邓恩桉木材的主要物理指标处于国产阔叶树材的中下水平,对其进行改性处理后可作为轻型建筑和家具用材。

대엄서사당림장22년생산은안목재적주요물이성질진행측정화분석。결과표명:산은안목재기간밀도、전간밀도분별위0.751、0.707 g·cm-3;기경향、현향화체적습창솔분별위3.8%、4.7%、8.9%;경향、현향화체적간축솔분별위3.9%、10.0%、13.8%;192 h적흡수솔위83.5%。제목재밀도외,산은안목재적주요물리지표처우국산활협수재적중하수평,대기진행개성처리후가작위경형건축화가구용재。
The physical characteristics of wood from plantation grownEucalyptus dunniiwere investigated. The results showed that the air-dried density and oven-dry density were 0.751 and 0.707 g·cm-3 respectively; the swelling in radial and tangential directions as well as volumetric were 3.8%, 4.7% and 8.9% respectively; the shrinkage coefficient in radial and tangential directions as well as volumetric were 3.9%, 10.0% and 13.8% respectively; and, the hygroscopicity was 83.5% in 192 hours. Besides the wood density, the main physical characteristics ofEucalyptus dunniiwerebelow the average of broad-leaved wood of China and can be used as light material and for furniture making after modified treatment.
