The end residual current operated protection is very important in the classified residual current operated protection of the Low-voltage distribution system. This dissertation based on the present situation of the lack of the reliability test for the end residual current operated protection,first discusses the principles of the end residual current operated protection and the significance of the on-the-spot test, then puts forward three testing methods for the on-the-spot test,further indicates the features and the sphere of application of the on-the-spot test,at last,identifies the practicability of the on-the-spot testing method with a engineering example.
