本文对高职院校的英语专业学生在英语学习中所出现的“停滞不前”的现象进行分析，根据该现象即“高原期现象”的出现原因，提出了相应的解决方法，以达到提高学生学习成绩，改善教学质量的目的。

Having analyzed the reasons of the phenomenon of standstill in studying Business English among the students in vocational colleges, which is called the plateau phenomenon, this thesis aims to find out the countermeasures to solve the problems so as to improve students study as well as the teaching quality.
