Effects of die entrance angle on micro-extrusion forming were simulated by FEM. The deformation process was simulated with DEFORM, the metal flow and filling and stress-strain and load feature were obtained. The deformation mechanism of gear micro-forming was disclosed, and the test was done with the suitable die entrance angle. The extrusion micro-gear has very good shape and performance.
