The paper introduced the reform and innovation for composition of textbook medical histology and embryology.There were such sharp characteristics as the following:new-system construction of the textbook with new contents and five parts,which were,introduction of " situation",teaching objectives,main body,notes and summary.There were more than 650 illustrations,the illustrations and its accompanying essay were both excellent,for the model,light microscopy and electron microscopy graph,the optimal combination.The textbook can inspire learners interest in study and arouse their thoughts in activities.The book is beneficial not only for development of learners individual personalities but also in line with the requirements of medical talent training goal.
