高等函授教育是终身教育体系的重要组成部分，是学历继续教育主要育人模式之一，为我国经济建设和社会发展培养了大批人才，做出了积极贡献。随着高等教育大众化、成人教育网络化热潮涌动，高等函授教育却遭遇“寒冬”，其生存和发展被“终结论”“取代论”“多余论”所困扰，高等函授教育要不要坚持发展，如何在变革中突围，本文分析了高等函授教育发展现状，提出了相应的解困之策，以期为高等函授教育可持续发展提供新的思路。
高等函授教育是終身教育體繫的重要組成部分，是學歷繼續教育主要育人模式之一，為我國經濟建設和社會髮展培養瞭大批人纔，做齣瞭積極貢獻。隨著高等教育大衆化、成人教育網絡化熱潮湧動，高等函授教育卻遭遇“寒鼕”，其生存和髮展被“終結論”“取代論”“多餘論”所睏擾，高等函授教育要不要堅持髮展，如何在變革中突圍，本文分析瞭高等函授教育髮展現狀，提齣瞭相應的解睏之策，以期為高等函授教育可持續髮展提供新的思路。

As an important part in lifelong education system and one of the main ways of aca-demic continuing education, correspondence higher education has played an active role in cultivating talents for our economic construction and social development .With the upsurges of popularization of higher education and web-based adult education, however, its survival and development is threat-ened by the End View, Substitution View or Unnecessary View.To be or not to be?This paper ana-lyzes the current situation of the correspondence higher education, and suggests some corresponding measures to solve the problem, trying to offer some new ideas for the sustainable development of cor-respondence higher education.
