The applications of nano-materials such as nano-SiO 2 、nano-CaCO 3 ,、nano-TiO 2 and Carbon nanofibers in the aspect of concrete were introduced and their effects on the performance of concrete were analyzed.The further re-search trends of nano-concrete are predicted.It is found that the proper addition of nano-materials can increase com-pactness of concrete because the tiny particles can be well filled into the cement pore.Therefore the mechanical proper-ties and durability of concrete are improved.
