This paper took the construction of bearing platfo- rm and the base of tower of Yangtze River bridge 3# pier with dual-purpose of the Tongling section of Hefei-Fuzhou railway bridge as the background, discussing the thermal control prob- lems in construction process of large volume concrete, and em- phaticaly introducing the measures of temperature control of mass concrete in construction process.
