本文从现状交通研究指标体系中的道路等级结构等方面，综合分析了襄阳市护城河周边地区的交通现状。利用 GIS 技术的统计及分析功能，得出了现状的各指标数据，并与相关国家标准比较，进而提出了交通改进的合理策略和建议。

This article from the research on the road hierarc- hical structure of index system of road trafic, made a compr- ehensive analysis of the traffic situation in the surrounding ar- ea of the moat of Xiangyang city. By using the functions of statistics and analysis of GIS technology, we obtained the st- atus of the index data, and compared with the relevant national standards, and the author puts forward rational strategy and su- ggestions for trafic improvement.
