The paper brielfy presents the smoke dust characteristics in glass industry kiln and denitration and dust re-moval status and technical dififculties in glass industry of the country at present time. The basalt ifbre iflter bags can be used under the high temperature of 380℃ for a long time, and can solve effectively the problems in glass industry kilns, such as high temperature of lfue gas, extra ifne and viscosity of powder dusts, high content of NOx and SOx. The basalt ifber iflter bags can be successfuly applied in glass kilns of 200t/d.
