通过实地调查安徽蚌埠城市老年人社会参与的现状，探索影响因素与存在问题，结果发现老年人的自组织能力与参与意愿不足，限制了老年人力资源的开发。这是受多方因素影响的，一方面，政府应该对老年人社会参与更多投入，发挥老年人的真正价值，对养老资源合理分配，缓解社会老龄化危机；另一方面，实现积极老龄化目标还需要社会各界共同努力。在我国老龄化进程加速的情况下，各类研究对老年人社会参与的关注度较低，应该认识到，老年人积极参与是有利于社会发展的。

It took Bengbu city and Anhui province as an example in this paper to analyze the current status of urban social participation of older persons from field investigation,and explored the factors and existing prob-lems of old age society participation.It concluded that the real cause of low level of old social participation is the insufficient enthusiasm of elderly participation,and this is affected by multi factors.The government should spend more on the social participation of the elderly and strengthen elderly human resources development,be-cause it is a more rational allocation of resources,in addition,achieving active ageing also rely on the joint ef-forts of all sectors of society.In the case of accelerated aging process in China,study on the social participation of the elderly have received far less attention.The aged participate social actively is in favour of social devel-opment.
