传统的职业生涯理论主要着眼于自我认知及工作世界的要求，关于偶发事件对个体职业生涯的影响鲜有提及。信息时代组织的快速变迁也渴求更具弹性和应变能力的员工，为此，作为基于理性的职业匹配论的必要补充———善用机缘论应运而生，该理论关注偶发事件，将识别、创造、转化偶发事件作为职业咨询的目标。可从四个干预步骤入手，并从机遇事件回顾、好奇心之旅、思维清障车等方面来设计思路，以实现善用机缘论在大学生职业生涯规划中的创新运用。

Traditional career theories focus on the exploration of self awareness and the work world,while little attention is paid to the affection of unplanned events on career.Furthermore,because of the rapid change of organization in the information age,the adaptabil-ity and flexibility of staffs are urgently needed.Planned Happenstance Theory generates in this background,which is a conceptual framework extending career counseling to the creating and transforming of unplanned events into opportunities for learning.The defini-tion of Planned Happenstance Theory is introduced in this article,it is also compared with traditional theory,and its application in ca-reer counseling and career planning teaching is expounded as well.
