For density measurement in reactor and regenerator of the 1.4 Mt/a catalytic cracking unit of Daqing Petrochemical Company,a more advanced density measurement method for reactor and regenerator is proposed. The problem of different unit system caused by the original plant design and plant revamping is revealed. Scheme of changed measuring range on DCS is put forward by calculation.
