作为台湾中生代代表诗人，罗智成的诗歌写作呈现出一个为彷徨的社会寻求文化理想的野心。借由对世界细节的直觉与隐喻性把握，他逃逸出现实与自我两个向度的逼迫，最终与孤独一起，寻找修辞得以“撼动世界的动能”，并期待能以此探寻通往追求真正自我者的天地。

As a poet representative of the Middle-born Generation in Taiwan, Luo Chi-cheng, in the writing of his poetry, shows an ambition in pursuit of cultural ideals for a restless society. By his intuitive and metaphoric mastery of the details of the world, he manages to escape from the pressure from the two directions of reality and self, ending up together with solitude in searching for“the energy with which to shake the world”with rhetoric and expecting, in that way, to explore the access to the realm of real self.
