The phenomenon of polysemy is very common ,which reflects the Dynamism of the lan‐guage development .As further development of categorization ,the theory of decategorization highlights the dynamic feature of human cognition ,w hich provides solid evidence to understand the derived mean‐ing based on the original meaning from the cognitive perspective .Decategorization makes it possible for language users to use the language in a flexible and creative way .
