作为德国人口最密集的城市之一，拥有许多世界一流公司企业的斯图加特地区，其环境问题长期以来一直备受人们关注。在当今德国，斯图加特地区的环境保护堪称典范，为人们所称道。本文从环境史角度出发，着重研究该地区史前文明时代、农业文明时代、工业文明时代和生态文明时代这四个阶段人与自然环境的相互作用关系，探讨日耳曼人在生态实践中的成败得失。总之，“绿色德国”可为“美丽中国”的生态文明建设提供诸多经验和参考。

Stuttgart is one of the most densely-populated cities in Germany, and many globally first-class companies and enterprises are located in the area. Its environmental issue has been drawing prevalent attention for long. In present-day Germany, the environment protection in Stuttgart area is exemplary and praiseworthy. This paper, from the perspective of environmental history, focuses on studies of the interrelationship between human and nature in terms of pre-historic civilization age, agricultural civilization age, industrial civilization age, and e-co-civilization age, and explores success and failure, loss and gain of Germanic environmental protection. In a word, “Green Germany” provides overall experience and reference for the eco-civilization construction of “Beau-tiful China.”
