The method of datum correction of least static is superior to that of one-step statics correction with horizonal datum in theory.But how many advantages are there in its practical application?This paper takes Wellblock LN6 of Jung-gar Basin for example to compare the datum correction of least static with the one-step statics correction of horizonal da-tum in principle,statics calculation,and velocity-field-built.During identifying structural trap,good results have been ob-tained by using the technology of datum correction of least static.It provided a exploration well for drilling .
