近年东天山开展的1∶25万区域地质调查工作在雅满苏镇北新发现一套冰碛岩,经填图及剖面调查研究,查明该套冰碛岩不整合于一套浅变质碎屑岩之上,与寒武—石炭纪大洋残片混杂产出,冰碛岩中有典型的冰川条痕石、马鞍石、压扭石等。经区域对比,该套冰碛岩组合与库鲁克塔格地区上南华统阿勒通沟组(Nh2a)可对比,下伏的浅变质碎屑岩与下南华统照壁山组(Nh1zh)可对比,初步确定其时代为南华纪。新发现的冰碛岩位于中天山地块北缘,为中天山地块与库鲁克塔格地块同属为塔里木微板块提供了新的证据。

A suite of tillite distributed Northern Yamansu Town eastern Tianshan was discovered by map plotting and profile investigation from 1:250000 regional geological survey work in Eastern Tianshan in recent years.The tillite which unconformed onto a set of epimetamorphic clastic rocks,immingle with Cambrian-Carboniferous ocean debris.The Tillite involve Striate pebble,saddle stone, pressure torsion stone Etc. in typical.The tillite from Kulutage region can be com-pared to the Aletonggou group Late Nanhua System (Nh2a), even,the clastic rocks beneath the unconformity can be com-pared to the Zhaobishan group Early Nanhua System(Nh1zh)from the regional correlation.Therefore,the suit of tillite is Nanhua Period.The newly discovered tillite is located in the north margin of the Middle TianShan block,proving that both of the Middle Tianshan massif and Kulutage micro-massif are belong to the Tarim microplate.Therefore,the discov-ery of the tillite has important geological significance.
