GIS技术具有数据整合、空间分析、地理模拟、动态预测及地理信息系统开发等功能，运用GIS技术可以迅速整合广东省第一次全国水利普查成果，该文介绍了以ArcGIS为代表的GIS技术在水利普查成果发布阶段的应用，重点探讨了水利普查成果的专题图制作技术、辅助空间标绘的空间分析技术及成果应用服务系统的研发技术。

GIS is a technology with functions of data integration, spatial analysis, geographic simulation, dynamic prediction and geographic information system development.Results of the first national water census in Guangdong province can be rapidly integrated with GIS technology.This paper introduces the application of GIS technology represented by Arcgis in the results published stage of water census.The thematic map making technology is mainly discussed in results of water census, the spatial analysis technology in spatial plotting, the development technology of application and service system.
