广东省现有土壤侵蚀面积为21.31万km2，水力侵蚀中，轻度、中度、强烈、极强烈和剧烈侵蚀的面积分别为8886.03 km2、6925.49 km2、3534.90 km2、1628.94 km2、330.07 km2。本次普查全面查清了全省土壤侵蚀分布、面积和强度，普查结果表明，经过多年治理，广东省水土流失防治工作总体进展良好，大强度的水土流失面积明显减少，但仍存在水土流失严重地区，水土流失防治工作仍然十分艰巨。要充分利用本次水土保持情况普查成果，全面推进全省水土保持工作。

The first National Census for Water in Guangdong Province is from 2010 to 2012, and the soil and water conservation survey is a very important part.The existing total area of soil erosion in Guangdong is 213.1 thousand km2 , of which the mild moderate strong, strong and intense erosion area are 8 886.03km2 , 6 925.49km2 , 3 534.90km2 , 1 628.94km2 and 330.07km2 respectively.A thorough investigation is made among the distribution of soil erosion, area and intensity in Guangdong Province.It is shown that, after years of governance, Guangdong, s soil erosion prevention and treatment work in progress is good on the whole, the area of soil and water loss was reduced, but there are still serious soil erosion area, oil erosion prevention and control work is still arduous, which can be made full use of the soil and water conservation census results, and comprehensively promoted the provincial soil and water conservation.
