黄秋葵又名补肾草，在欧美国家又被称为“植物伟哥”。是一种具有较高营养价值的多功能新型蔬菜，嫩果中含有一种黏性物质能帮助消化、治疗胃炎、胃溃疡和保护肝脏，具有增强人体耐力的功能，是运动员食用的首选蔬菜，也是中老年人的保健食品，有很大的应用价值和开发潜力。本文主要总结了黄秋葵的功能特性、生物学特性、品种类型并探究了其栽培技术，以期为黄秋葵的应用提供参考。

Okra is a kind of vegetables with high nutritional value and multi- functional for human health.Okra is called kidney Grass ,is also known asplant viagrain Europe and the United States.The fruit of okra contains a kind of Sticky material which can help digesting,treat gastritis and gastric ulcer, and protect the liver.It also can enhance human endurance for athletes and old people.Okra has tremen-dous developing potentiality because of its high value of health care and clinical application.This article mainly summarized the main features,biological characteristics,and varieties of the okra.The cultivation techniques of okra was studied,which would provide a reference for the application of okra.
