针对犁体曲面铣削过程中的颤振现象，以铣削力方向系数平均理论为基础，提出了一种改进的变螺旋铣刀铣削稳定性预测方法。对所提方法进行验证及效率评估表明：该方法具有良好的预测变螺旋铣削稳定性的能力，且能够显著地提升变螺旋铣刀铣削过程中的稳定性预测计算效率。

This paper presents a improved method of stability prediction for variable helix milling to cutting chatter for the body curved surface of ploughs , based on average theory of cutting force coefficient .And by evaluating the proposed method , this method has the ability of stability prediction for variable helix milling , and can significantly improve calcula-tion efficiency for stability prediction .
