Objective To explore the influencing factors of disability acceptance in patients with cerebral trauma, and provide evidence to improve the level of disability acceptance and guide them to evaluate themselves rational. Methods A total of 208 patients with cerebral trauma were questionnaired by the acceptance of disability scale. The level of disability acceptance was compared among the patients with different clinical features, and the single factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to explore the influencing factors of disability acceptance. Results The total score of disability acceptance was (165. 18 ± 30. 54) in patients with cerebral trauma, and 27. 88% of them was in the low level, 55. 77% of them in the medium level, 16. 35% of them in the high level. There were significant differences of disability acceptance in the patients with different gender, family income, MBI, FMA, course of disease, nursing time (P<0. 05). The multiple regression analysis indicated that FMA, MBI, course of disease, gender were influencing factors of disability acceptance (P<0. 05). Conclusions The level of disability acceptance is in the medium level in patients with cerebral trauma, which is affected by many factors. It requires the use of targeted interventions by medical staffs in order to improve the level of disability acceptance.
