High concentration coal chemical organic wastewater ( HCCCOW) treatment gets more and more attention in the development of the coal chemical industry. The characteristic of HCCCOW was analyzed, and some progress of treatment technologies and various combination treatment technologies were introduced. Combination technologies of HCCCOW will become the main development direction of coal chemical industry wastewater treatment technologies in the future.
