教材观是对教材本质与功能的基础认识。不一样的教材观反映了老师对待教材的态度,从本质上影响着教师的教学方式和对教材的运用策略。新一轮基础教育课程改革提倡转变教师的教材观,需要教师突破教材的禁锢,摆脱对教材“圣经式”的崇拜,把握教材的整体观、分层观和资源观,做到根据教学实际,创造性地使用教材、结合具体需求开发教材。

The outlook on textbooks is a basic understanding of the natures and functions of textbooks. Different outlooks on text-books reflect different attitudes of teachers towards textbooks, and essentially affect teachers' strategies of using teaching methods and textbooks. The new round of basic education curriculum re-form advocates changing teachers' outlooks on textbooks, requir-ing teachers to break the confinement of textbooks, get rid of the worship for textbooks, grasp the concepts of integrity, level and resource of textbooks, use and develop textbooks in accordance with teaching practice and specific needs.
