基于产业竞争框架和制度理论视角，理论探讨并实证检验了技术驱动与政府支持对于企业探索性创新的影响机理、作用效果及其潜在差异，并进一步研究了市场供需因素和竞争因素对于以上路径的影响。根据303家企业的配对调研数据实证分析得出以下结论：技术驱动和政府支持对于企业探索性创新均有正向促进效果，而二者的效果没有显著差异；此外，需求不确定性越高，技术动荡与探索性创新的正向关系增强，相反却使得政府支持与探索性创新的正向关系减弱；竞争强度越高，技术动荡与探索性创新的正向关系减弱。

From the perspectives of industrial competition framework and institutional theory, this paper theoretical-ly discusses and empirically examines the driven mechanisms and effects of technological and governmental ele-ments on firms' exploratory innovation, and their potential heterogeneities as well. The contingent effects of de-mand uncertainty and competitive intensity has also been addressed. Based on the survey data from 303 paired firm samples in China, the empirical results indicate that: Both technological turbulence and government support have positive effects on exploratory innovation, demand uncertainty positively moderates the relationship between technological turbulence and exploratory innovation, but negatively moderates the relationship between government support and exploratory innovation. Competitive intensity negatively moderates the relationship between technologi-cal turbulence and exploratory innovation. This research enriches the existing innovation literature in China's transi-tional economy and contributes to the institutional theory, which has some theoretical and practical significance.
