The joint operation of cascade reservoirs in Jinshuitan Hydropower Station is introduced.Experiences that could improve the overall benefit of such cascade stations are summarized, including the fundamental regulation work of cascade reservoirs, reducing the surplus water, increasing the power generating water head, technical renovation of e-quipment, and reasonable utilization of the surcharge capacity.
